USA Labor Day is a federal holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to our amazing country. Land of the free, home of the brave! Did you know Canada’s Labour Day is also celebrated on the first Monday of September? Having Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off, Labor Day Weekend is considered the unofficial end of summer in the United States. Don’t be sad though, beautiful Fall is just around the corner. We are in the swing of things with a few weeks of school under our belt here in Northern Colorado. No school on Monday, and some have Tuesday off as well! What will you do? Go camping, hiking, biking, visit a local brewery, or just grill and take a staycation at home? Whatever you do, enjoy your time off and be safe out there! If you have to work, we thank you for sacrificing on this day! Remember, don’t check the mailbox! Hmm that makes me wonder…does Amazon Prime get the day off?
